ISHPEMING, MI-- The Ishpeming Police Department has made an arrest in a drive-by shooting that happened in the city.
On August 28 around 10 p.m. someone fired several shots at a house at 635 Iron Street. No injuries were reported.
On Thursday officers took Brandon Schiefel, 24, into custody in Ishpeming on a 12-count felony warrant. He was arrested for assault with intent to murder, discharge of a firearm in or at a building, discharge of a firearm from a vehicle, three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, and six counts of felony firearms.
The investigation continues. Anyone with additional information about the incident is asked to call Ishpeming Police at 486-4416.
