UPSET arrests suspected heroin dealer in Menominee

MENOMINEE, MI--   Two Wisconsin residents have been arrested by the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team on multiple drug-related charges.

Over the past two months detectives have been investigating a female heroin dealer who is a suspect in two overdoses in Menominee. While working in the Menominee area Monday night detectives overheard a 911 call about a suspected overdose. The 18-year-old woman was at the residence when officers and EMS arrived. Narcan was used to revive the overdose victim prior to UPSET’s arrival.

A search warrant was executed at the house. Detectives found evidence of cocaine, heroin, and fentanyl. They also found drug packaging, scales, and drug ledgers.

The woman was lodged in the Menominee County Jail on two counts of delivery of heroin, possession of meth, and possession of fentanyl. The 20-year-old man from Peshtigo was lodged on charges of possession of meth, possession of heroin, and maintaining a drug house.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
