HOUGHTON, MI-- Police in Houghton found one crime while investigating another last week.
On Thursday City Police executed a search warrant on a vehicle involved in the recent larcenies of two trailers, a motorcycle and snowmobiles. During the search they discovered a meth lab.
The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team was called in. Detectives dismantled the lab and removed the hazardous chemicals.
Officials also discovered additional evidence related to the larcenies.
The Hurontown Fire Department assisted at the scene.
