Crystal meth found at Ishpeming apartment

ISHPEMING, MI--   The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team seized meth from an Ishpeming residence last week.

Detectives received information a man was selling crystal meth he had purchased downstate. UPSET conducted surveillance and identified the suspect in his vehicle. He was stopped by Ishpeming Police and the Michigan State Police Hometown Security Team. Officers discovered a small amount of crystal meth.

Additional information obtained led to an execution of a search warrant of the suspect’s apartment last Wednesday. Police seized an ounce of meth.

No arrests have been made. The case remains under investigation and charges are expected.
