ESCANABA, MI-- An Escanaba man is in jail following a drug bust by the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team.
On Wednesday a search warrant was executed at a residence in the city. Detectives seized about 34 grams of suspected crystal meth, a small amount of suspected heroin/fentanyl, more than $3,600 and a loaded handgun that was reported stolen.
Jimmy Pethers, 41, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver meth, possession of meth, maintaining a drug house and receiving and concealing a stolen firearm. He remains lodged in the Delta County Jail on a $175,000 cash bond.
