MENOMINEE, MI— A Menominee man is behind bars for possessing child pornography after he fled the state to avoid arrest.

The charges stem from a nearly two-and-a-half-year investigation by Gladstone troopers and the MSP Marquette Computer Crimes Unit. During the investigation Koldos fled to Virginia, where he was living under an alias. He was located and arrested by the Louisa County Sheriff’s Department on October 5th.

Koldos waived extradition and was brought back to Michigan on October 13th. He remains lodged in the Menominee County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
