Downstate woman arrested in Keweenaw drug investigation

MOHAWK, MI— A Dodgeville, Michigan woman has been arrested for delivering drugs in the Keweenaw.

Detectives from the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team say the 33-year-old is charged with delivery of meth and delivery of Adderall.

The arrest is connected to the execution of search warrants in Mohawk on July 14th and is part of an ongoing investigation into the distribution of meth in the area.

The suspect remains jailed on a 50-thousand-dollar cash bond.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
