HOUGHTON, MI— A Hancock man has been arrested for viewing child pornography on the internet.
Dominic Barrette, 21, is charged with possession of child sexually abusive material, nine counts of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, and ten counts of using a computer to commit a crime.
The Michigan State Police Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force says digital evidence was seized in a search of Barrette’s residence.
A probable cause conference is set for August 28th and a preliminary hearing for September 1st in Houghton County District Court.
