Houghton man arraigned in fatal shooting

HOUGHTON, MI— A suspect has been arraigned in the fatal shooting of a Houghton man.

Officers responded Monday around 7 p.m. to a downtown establishment. They found 53-year-old Theron Duncan deceased in the men’s bathroom.

Fifty-nine year old Evan Dixon of Houghton was taken into custody and lodged at the Houghton County Jail. He was arraigned today in 97^th District Court.

No further information has been released at this time.
