UPDATE - Police release name of suspect in alleged shooting in Marquette; pursuit ends with suspect vehicle crash and on fire in Negaunee

Marquette, MI – Marquette City Police have released the name of the suspect in Tuesday’s alleged shooting in Marquette and police chase to Negaunee which ended in the suspect’s vehicle on fire.

         Officials say 31-year-old Trevor Restivo, of Marquette, sustained injuries when his vehicle crashed into a diesel pump at the Krist gas station in Negaunee. He was taken to UPHS-Marquette for treatment and released into police custody Wednesday. Restivo is lodged in the Marquette County jail on multiple charges, including 2 counts of assault with intent to murder.

         The victim who sustained gunshot wounds is a 33-year-old Marquette man. He was taken to UPHS-Marquette for treatment and remains hospitalized. The victim who sustained minor injuries during the disturbance is a 68-year old Marquette man. He was taken to UPHS-Marquette for treatment of non-gunshot related injuries and then released.
