In Marquette county contested races Bruce Heikkila won the County Commission seat in District 3, while Deborah Pellow won in District 5.
Mike Farrell secured the drain commissioner post.
Of five candidates running for Marquette County Probate Judge, Cheryl Hill won the election with 4,271 votes. George Hyde, who will face Hill in the November election, came in second with 2,621 votes.
Voters approved .4474 mills over 6 years for senior services; a .1525-mill renewal over 6- ears for Search and Rescue and Technical Rescue Services passed; and voters said yes to .4970 mills over 6 years for the operation of Central Dispatch.

Several Republican candidates vied to be Marquette County precinct delegates in Tuesday’s primary. Two spots in Forsyth Township went to Billy Jack Gauthier and Nicole Gauthier.
In West Branch Township Suzy Feliciano, Daniel Smyth, and Doreen Takalo won three spots.
In the City of Marquette two spots went to Michael Flores and Kayla Lahti.
Two spots were open on the Marquette City Commission in the primary election. Securing them were Sara Cambensy and Mike Coyne.

In Champion Township Tina Koski won the supervisor’s spot.
In Humboldt Township Democrats Jacqueline Koski and Marline Worth secured two trustee seats.
In Ishpeming Township Kristin Thornton won as treasurer and Ruben Champion and Bob Saxwold secured two trustee seats.
William Carlson won the Negaunee Township supervisor post.
In Republic Township Gary Johnson won the supervisor seat; Kristina Koski secured the treasurer spot; and Thomas Feldhusen and Carol Kellow won two trustee seats.
In Richmond Township two trustee spots went to Steve Horvath and Patricia Korpi.
David Kallio won the Sands Township supervisor post.
In West Branch Township Laurie Karpinen is the treasurer.

In Ely Township a proposal for a 2 mill renewal over 5 years for general operations passed and a 2-mill renewal over 5 years for garbage services was approved.
In Ewing Township a renewal of 1 mill over 20 years for fire protection services passed.
Forsyth Township voters said yes to 1 mill over 6 years for police department operations.
Voters in Negaunee Township approved .02202 mills for operations.
In Powell Township 2 mills over 5 years for road improvements was rejected and .9971 mills over 5 years for library services was denied.
Richmond Township voters said yes to a 2.5-mill renewal over 5 years for general operations and yes to a renewal of 1.5 mills over 20 years for fire protection.
In Sands Township a renewal of .8501 mills over 4 years for operations was approved and .8501 mills over 4 years for library services was approved.
In Turin Township voters said yes to a renewal of 1 mill over 20 years for fire protection services.
In West Branch Township voters passed a renewal of .93137 mills over 5 years for library services.

Voters also said yes to 2 mills over 5 years for a building and site sinking fund for the Negaunee Public Schools District.
