DNR looks for partnerships in state programs

LANSING, MI--   The Department of Natural Resources is looking for outdoor recreation partners and sponsors for the 2016 season.

Opportunities include statewide event campaigns, creating co-promotional products for distribution, and donating to various projects.

One such project includes the Iron Belle Trail, which stretches from Belle Isle Park in Detroit to Ironwood.  It features two distinct routes for hiking and biking that together cover 2,000 miles.

The DNR says it’s also interested in partnerships with private businesses that promote Michigan woods and waters, and is looking for people to sponsor or host events for statewide campaigns.

For more information, go to Michigan.gov/dnr, or call 989-225-8573.
