Vacant spots on DNR Citizens' Advisory Councils

MARQUETTE, MI--   The Michigan Department of Natural Resources is looking for volunteers to serve on its Eastern and Western Upper Peninsula Citizens’ Advisory Councils.

DNR officials say the councils will advise the agency on regional programs and policies; identify areas where the DNR can be more effective and responsive; and offer insight and guidance from the members’ own experience.

Each council meets every other month. There are two open seats on both councils.

The deadline to submit an application is Friday, December 16.  For more information go to Michigan.gov/UPCAC.
