MARQUETTE, MI-- The Department of Natural Resources wants public input to help shape a new general management plan for Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park.
Officials say the plan will guide the future of the area in Ontonagon and Gogebic Counties.
People can share their opinions by March 24 via a survey at Michigan.gov/Porkies.
The DNR says the survey is one of several opportunities to get involved in the planning process. The agency will also host an open house later this year. The public will be able to review and comment on the draft management plan at that time.
