MUNISING, MI— Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore has completed construction of a new entrance at Miners Beach.
It was created to be an unloading and beach access area for authorized kayak companies.
The new area will be designated for commercial use only. It’s located away from the main east and west points of entry to the beach, which will alleviate congestion experienced by both beachgoers and commercial groups that launch from Miners Beach.
The main east and west points of entry will be designated solely for visitors and beachgoers.
