MARQUETTE, MI— The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy is holding a public meeting in Marquette next week to gather input on the MI Healthy Climate Plan.
It’s a strategy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and transition the state toward carbon-neutrality. A key focus of the plan is on solutions that support communities disproportionately impacted by the changing climate.
The meeting aims to identify local needs and provide localized context for Michigan climate action.
It will take place Wednesday, December 6th at Northern Michigan University. Preregistration is encouraged. A link to do so is here.
