"Collect Marquette" program launched by Travel Marquette

MARQUETTE, MI— Travel Marquette has created an initiative designed to help clean up the environment as people enjoy the great outdoors.

Collect Marquette is a digital passport program where visitors and residents check in at geo-tagged locations, clean up waste along the way, and return their collected trash for local prizes.

Participating locations include Sugarloaf Mountain, the Iron Ore Heritage Trail, Perkins Park, Peter Nordeen Park, Teal Lake, the Al Quaal Recreation Area, and others.

The Collect Marquette program runs through the end of summer.
