MUNISING, MI— Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore will temporarily close Miners Falls Trail next week.
June 23-25, contractors will conduct soil boring near the upper and lower viewing platforms. That will inform design plans for a new stair structure, which is anticipated to be installed next year.
Officials say the closure will not affect access to Miners Castle or Miners Beach.
