Marquette Coffee Crawl aims to give participants a taste of local brews while helping survivors of domestic violence

Marquette Coffee Crawl

MARQUETTE, MI— The 8th Annual Marquette Coffee Crawl is coming up on April 18, and all proceeds will benefit the Marquette Women’s Center.

Participants can sign up for one of three time slots between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. They’ll get a punch card that lets them try brews at 12 local businesses.

Kacey Kramer is a member of NMU’s Public Relations Student Society of America, which hosts the event. She says the coffee crawl is always held in April because it’s Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

“Every $250 we raise can provide a week of safe housing for a family at the Harbor House. And we’re one of their largest third-party organizations that donate to the Women’s Center.”

Stops on the crawl will include booths with information about the Women’s Center and how people can get help.

Each time slot will begin in front of the U.P. Children’s Museum.

More information is on the Marquette Coffee Crawl Instagram page, or at www.nmu.universitytickets.com
