Lansing, MI—The Michigan Civil Rights Commission will hold their next quarterly meeting on Monday in northern Michigan and online. The meeting is open to the public and will include a public comment period.
The Commission is slated to hear an update on a study of Michigan’s Native American boarding schools, public hearings on housing discrimination, the FY24 budget… and they will consider a resolution in support of providing access to drivers’ licenses to individuals regardless of their immigration status.
The meeting will take place at 10 AM in the Crystal Center in Thompsonville, south of Traverse City. The meeting will also be accessible via ZOOM and will be livestreamed to the MDCR Facebook page at facebook.com/MIDCR.
