SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be performing maintenance work on the I-75 Business Spur bridge over I-75 in Sault Ste. Marie, requiring traffic signal changes on the bridge beginning Monday, August 25th.
Bridge deck overlay work will be performed from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night. The work is expected to be completed by Wednesday morning, August 27th, but may extend to Thursday, August. 28th, depending on the weather.
Motorists should expect one lane of alternating traffic open on I-75 - Business Spur with temporary traffic signals. The existing ramp signals will be placed in flash mode.
The project will help ensure continued safe and reliable operation of the roadway.
