L'ANSE, MI-- It's safe again to drink the water in L'Anse.
The water department in the Baraga County village lifted an advisory Wednesday that warned residents to boil their tap water before using it.
The line broke Monday afternoon at Waterfront Park as workers replaced a hydrant. Crews made repairs to the water main Monday and restored pressure to the water system.
Authorities completed tests Wednesday and lifted the advisory in the morning.
