Goodwill and WZMQ holding winter clothing drive

MARQUETTE, MI— Goodwill Industries of Northern Wisconsin and Upper Michigan and WZMQ 19 are partnering for a winter clothing drive.

Many people in the community do not always have enough clothing to stay warm or lack funds to buy certain cold weather items. Operation Warm UP aims to help children, students, and adults stay protected and warm during the harsh winter months ahead.

Gently used coats, hats, and gloves will be accepted in designated Warm UP bins at Goodwill stores in Marquette, Escanaba, Sault Ste. Marie, Houghton, and Marinette.

The clothing drive runs through November 22nd.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
