Rowland's cause of death still not determined

MARQUETTE, MI--   Officials have released autopsy results for a man found dead in the Forestville area of Marquette County last week.

Sheriff’s officials say there is no obvious cause of death for John Rowland, 36. The Skandia man was last seen in Marquette in the early morning hours of February 23. A van he was driving was found stuck on a road in Forestville later in the day.

Rowland’s body was discovered by a helicopter in a wooded area north of the van on March 3.

Officials say Rowland’s cause of death remains under investigation, pending results of other tests performed.
