SCHOOLCRAFT COUNTY, MI— The body of a missing downstate man has been found in Schoolcraft County.
Timothy Lawrence, 51, of Byron Center was reported missing on August 30. He had crashed his car on Lang Road near US-2 in the area of Blaney Park and run off before troopers arrived.
Michigan State Police searched with a K-9 and drone but couldn’t locate him.
Troopers say Lawrence’s body was found Monday near the area of Lang Road.
They say foul play is not suspected in his death.
