An interview with Dr. Erin Colwitz

The Marquette Choral Society returns to the Kaufman Auditorium this December.

This symphonic choir is dedicated to bringing the beauty of choral music to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and they will continue that tradition with two concerts of Carols & Lullabies. The concert features Benjamin Britten's A Ceremony of Carols and Conrad Susa's Carols and Lullabies: Christmas in the Southwest.

The director of the choral society Dr. Erin Colwitz stopped by our studios to tell us more about it in an interview with Kurt Hauswirth:

A conversation with Dr. Erin Colwitz

The choir performs at Kaufman Auditorium in Marquette on two occasions; December 17 at 7:30 p.m. and December 18 at 3:00 p.m.

More information about Marquette Choral Society can be found on their website here.

Kurt lives in Marquette with his family and can’t imagine living anywhere else. He loves music, games, running, being near water, and a fine cold brew coffee.
