An interview with Suzi ahead of her Escanaba Public Library Writing Workshop and Reading

Award-winning author, mixed media artist, and Escanaba native Suzi Banks Baum will present a workshop and reading titled There's No Place Like Home at the Escanaba Public Library on October 19th.

Suzi will return to the area to lead a discussion about writing from life experiences and to read selections from her newest published story, Maxie and Her Camera, which is set in the Lakeview Cemetery in Escanaba. Details and events in the story were inspired by the author's experience growing up in the area.

Suzi Banks Baum's Writing and Reading Workshop There's No Place Like Home takes place at the Escanaba Public Library on Thursday, October 19th at 4 pm. The event is for participants aged 12 through adult. Attendees are encouraged to bring a journal and writing utensil, and the event is free without registration.
