Media fans take note: a community-building event surrounding a love for recorded media takes place at the end of March in downtown Marquette.
Geoff Walker and Jon Teichman return to Marquette's Ore Dock Brewing Company to take over the upstairs community room for their pop-up pop culture swap. It's their first record show of 2024, with offerings of vinyl records, CDs, cassettes, books, posters, and more available for purchase or trade. The event is a collaboration between Ore Dock Brewing Company and the NMU Vinyl Record Club.
Kurt spoke with Jon Teichman about the four-day event:
The show runs from Thursday, March 28th to Sunday, March 31st, 2024 and takes place in Ore Dock Brewing Company's second floor community room. There are also concerts taking place on the other end of the community room throughout the weekend, including performances by Liquid Mike and New Nostalgia. A pop culture trivia event is scheduled for Sunday, March 31st.
