Talking with Amelia Pruiett, Communications Coordinator for the City of Marquette Office of Arts & Culture

Get ready for a week-long celebration of arts and culture in Marquette.

Art Week 2024 is just around the corner, happening this year from June 24th to 29th. The annual event brings together local artists, organizations, and businesses for a week of free and family-friendly events. This year's theme is Grow: Planting Seeds of Creativity, inspired by the relocation of the City's Office of Arts & Culture.

Highlights of this year's Art Week include art installations, exhibits, presentations, concerts, and more. The "Let's Grow Through Music" Art Week Opening Concert features performances by Rachael Davis and Cloverland on Monday, June 24th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Marquette Commons. On Thursday, June 27th, the City of Marquette's Cultural Trail will be discussed in workshops and engagement sessions throughout the day. The Seven Grandfathers Public Art Installation site will hum with activity on Friday, June 28th, with attendees able to contribute to a large-scale painting of the Great Lakes.
