Partridge Creek Farm director moving to MSU Regional Food Systems job

ISHPEMING, MI— The executive director of Ishpeming’s Partridge Creek Farm is stepping into a new, state-level role.

May Tsupros has been named Director of Farm to Institution Programs at Michigan State University’s Center for Regional Food Systems. They aim to bring better awareness of food education and access to Michigan.

Ishpeming High School and Middle School principal Seth Hoopingarner says Tsupros helped shape the direction of the PCF’s Farm to School Program and fostered significant relationships between PCF and the school district.

The Partridge Creek Farm Board has named a new executive director who will be announced in the upcoming weeks.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
