You’ll start your adventure in The Eternal City—Rome! Visit the Coliseum, the famous Piazza Navona, feast on regional delicacies and fine Italian wine. From there you’ll travel north through Assisi, Perugia, Siena, Florence, Venice, Murano Island, Lugano (Switzerland), and Como.

Space for this once in a life time journey is limited. We only have room for 44 travelers, so don’t wait to reserve your ticket!

PLEASE NOTE

  • Passport IS required.
  • Due to the unpredictable nature of the events schedule at the Vatican, on certain dates it may be necessary to visit the Vatican Museums in the afternoon. Vatican Museums are closed on Sundays and holidays that fall on Saturday. Most national museums in Florence, including the Uffizi Gallery and the Academy, are closed on Mondays.
  • On occasion, due to inclement weather, your boat trip to Murano Island may be substituted with a visit to a local glass factory in Venice.
  • Single accommodations are limited and are available on a first come, first served basis.
  • To complete your vacation, we include roundtrip airport-to-hotel transfers when purchasing Collette airfare with your tour. If you have arranged for your own air, we are pleased to provide you the option of purchasing these transfers. Please note that all transfers will leave at pre-scheduled times.
  • Please note that most shops and businesses in Italy are closed on Sundays and on national/religious holidays.
  • When the Vatican option falls on a Wednesday, the order of included and optional tours may be reversed, in order to participate in all activities for that day.
  • This tour includes moderate physical activity. Walking tours, as well as walking slightly longer distances, up stairs or on uneven walking surfaces should be expected. Some of the most unique sightseeing can mean accessing locations that restrict motor coaches, especially in historic areas. For your comfort, we recommend bringing walking shoes. If you require a walker or wheelchair, or have difficulty walking, you may not be able to access some of these areas and may want to consider an alternate Collette vacation. Our travel counselors can provide additional information or assistance to help you determine the perfect trip for you.
