MADISON, WI (AP)-- Wisconsin wildlife officials are closing another wolf hunting and trapping zone.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources says a zone that stretches across part of northeastern Wisconsin will close at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
The kill limit for that zone is 12 wolves. The DNR says 11 wolves are reported harvested.
That makes four of Wisconsin's six wolf hunting zones that will have closed this season. Hunters and trappers can still pursue wolves in two remaining zones.
The hunt began Oct. 15 and will run until hunters reach the 251-wolf statewide kill limit or through the end of February, whichever comes first.
