Michigan Activity Pass to be available at state libraries

LANSING, MI (AP)--   Here's another good reason to visit your local library: You can pick up a pass that will give you free entry to parks and cultural institutions across the state.

The Michigan Activity Pass program is sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, the Michigan Recreation and Park Association and The Library Network.

It offers cardholders at more than 400 participating libraries a one-day pass to hundreds of destinations, including state parks, historic sites, museums and other cultural attractions, plus campgrounds and recreation areas.

The passes will be available beginning May 24th at libraries or through the Michigan Activity Pass website.
