CALUMET, MI-- Michigan State Police at the Calumet Post are holding a Citizens Academy later this month.
The academy will give people the opportunity to become familiar with the mission and operation of the State
Police, understand the procedures troopers follow, increase their awareness of law enforcement’s role in the community, and get to know personnel at the post. Topics to be covered include patrol, dispatch, use of force, crime prevention, the legal system, criminal investigation, and drug awareness.
