UPPCO says energy efficiency rebates are available for those who replace damaged appliances

HOUGHTON, MI--   Upper Peninsula Power Company is encouraging customers to claim energy efficiency rebates when replacing storm-damaged appliances.

UPPCO Vice President of Business Development and Communications Brett French says the Energy Waste Reduction Program offers rebates and incentives for residential customers that purchase new energy efficient space heating and cooling equipment, heat pump hot water heaters, and Energy Star-rated appliances.

He says UPPCO also offers a no-cost appliance recycling service to residential and small commercial customers.

Additional information and rebate materials can be found at uppco.com.
