ESCANABA, MI-- An Escanaba house was damaged by fire Thursday afternoon.
The Escanaba Public Safety Department was dispatched to 729 South 16th Street at about 4:10 p.m. and found a small amount of smoke and flames at the front of the house. Officers quickly extinguished the fire and stayed on scene to control any flare-ups.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
