Wisconsin man charged in October crash fatality

Undated - A Wisconsin man has been charged with homicide in connection with a fatal crash in the town of Grover last October. 46-year-old Michael Galbraith of Coleman was on Kamm Road at US-41 when he proceeded into the intersection. He struck a vehicle driven by 30-year-old Cody Price of Oconto. 8-month-old Alana Price—who was restrained in a child safety seat—was injured and later died. Galbraith is charged in Marinette County Circuit Court with ‘homicide by intoxicated use of vehicle—restricted controlled substance’ and 2-counts of ‘operating with a restricted controlled substance-first degree with minor passenger younger than-16.’

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for June-26th.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
