SAGOLA TOWNSHIP - An Iron Mountain woman is injured following a one vehicle accident in Sagola Township.
State Police say 77-year old Ida Nord was travelling south on M-95 near Byers Road Monday at about 4:35pm when she attempted to overtake a vehicle. At the same time, another vehicle was attempting to overtake Nord’s vehicle.
Nord lost control, crossed the centerline, entered the ditch and overturned, pinning Nord in the vehicle.
She was taken to Dickinson County Hospital for treatment of unknown injuries. Nord was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident, and alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
