DRUMMOND ISLAND, MI (AP)--   State Police have released the name of a woman who was found dead after an explosion destroyed a home on Chippewa County’s Drummond Island.

The Soo Evening News says the woman has been identified as Jolene Hines, 59.

The island is in Lake Huron in Drummond Township, about 50 miles southeast of Sault Ste. Marie.

State Police say the house exploded and burned on March 31, and Hines' body was found after firefighters extinguished the blaze.

Detective Sergeant Mike Schroeder says the blast appears to have been an accident caused by a buildup of propane.
