ADAMS TOWNSHIP, MI-- An Atlantic Mine woman was taken to the hospital after a snowmobile accident in Houghton County Wednesday.
Sheriff’s deputies say the 32-year-old was southbound on the North Freda Trail when she lost control of her machine on the bumpy portion of a curve. She was ejected from the snowmobile and hit a tree.
The woman was taken to Upper Peninsula Health System Portage for treatment. Her condition is not known.
