Bicyclist hit, killed by motorhome in Chippewa County

SAULT STE. MARIE, MI— The Sault Ste. Marie Police Department is investigating a fatal crash involving a motor home and a bicyclist.

It happened January 6th just before 11 p.m. on 3 Mile Road near Ashmun Street. Upon arrival, officers found the bicyclist—56-year-old Laurence Miller of the Soo—seriously injured.

Miller was taken to MyMichigan Health Hospital in Midland, where he was later pronounced dead.

The crash is being investigated by City Police and Michigan State Police.
