QUINNESEC, MI— Two people sustained life-threatening injuries when a motorcycle hit a passenger car in Quinnesec Friday.

A 50-year-old Iron Mountain woman tried to turn left from a gas station onto the highway when her vehicle crossed in front of a motorcycle. The motorcycle driver—a 53-year-old Niagara man—and his passenger—a 16-year-old girl from Norway—were ejected upon impact.

Everyone involved was taken to Marshfield Hospital. The occupants of the motorcycle sustained life-threatening injuries and were airlifted to another hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.
