Marquette, MI – Local chefs are hosting a benefit dinner to raise money for the Harbor House Domestic Violence Shelter. The Chefs Against Domestic Violence will prepare a five course dinner next Monday night in Marquette. Jane Richards, Community Services Director for the Marquette Women's Center, says the benefit sells out every year. In addition to the meal, there will also be a silent auction and several guest speakers. Richards says proceeds from the fundraiser greatly benefit the Harbor House. Dinner begins at 5:30 p.m. at the Landmark Inn. Tickets can only be purchased at the hotel, and the reservation deadline is this Thursday. For more information, call 225-1346.
