Lansing, MI – Michigan State Police have teamed up with Identix Identification Services to bring electronic fingerprinting to the state of Michigan. All required background checks for state employment can now be done digitally in less than five minutes. Identix streamlines the process by electronically recording fingerprints and personal information and submitting it to the MSP. Lieutenant Colonel Tom Miller says the agreement will result in more accurate records and reduce the burden on law enforcement.
