Wilson man sentenced on sex charges

Grand Rapids, MI – A Wilson man has been sentenced in federal court for sexually assaulting two underage family members. 27-year-old Matthew Sean Spry was convicted in September on two counts of aggravated sexual abuse. The assaults took place in 1995 and 1998 on the Hannahville reservation, where the victims are members. Spry, who is non-Indian, was sentenced to 135 months in prison and 3 years of supervised release. He also was ordered to pay 200 dollars in court costs. Both victims were under the age of twelve at the time of the assaults.
