Marquette, MI – The Marquette YMCA is seeking volunteers to help with its 6th Annual Run/Walk, which will take place at the end of the month. The Run/Walk will feature several events, including the 5k, 10k, 10 mile run, 5k non-competitive walk, one mile youth run and toddler trot. Volunteers are needed for set up, refreshments, registration, and the first aid station. Proceeds go to the Strong Kids Campaign, which provides scholarships to those who could not otherwise afford a YMCA membership. All volunteers will receive a commemorative T-shirt. This year's race is sponsored by Johnson Sport Shop, Brooks shoes, ESPN Radio 970 and Powerade.
