MGH's Nemacheck named Michigan's top hospital, patient advocate

Washington, D.C. – A Marquette General Health System official was recognized as the state's top hospital and patient care advocate at a national conference this week. The American Hospital Association honored Chief Executive Officer William Nemacheck as Michigan's 2006 Grassroots Champion for working tirelessly on behalf of patients and health systems. He was also lauded for broadening the base of community support for hospitals and delivering the hospital message to elected officials.
