GHSP, Inc. uses Houghton business incubator to attract Tech grads

By Anthony Reynolds

Houghton – A fourth business has opened up shop in the MTEC SmartZone business incubator in Houghton. Grand Haven-based GHSP, Inc. is a leading global supplier of transmission shift systems, and will use its branch office to attract graduates from Michigan Technological University. Two of this year's graduates started working at the Innovation Center last month. SmartZone Program Manager Jonathan Leinonen says more and more companies are setting up local offices to engage Tech grads without having to relocate them.
