Marquette, MI – Non-native English speakers can now test their ability at Northern Michigan University, the only test center in the Upper Peninsula for the Test of English as a Foreign Language. The test evaluates the ability of non-native speakers of English to use and understand the language in speaking, listening and writing. It targets 11th-grade level or above students who wish to prove their understanding of the English language. More than 6,000 learning institutions and licensing agencies in 110 countries, including NMU, accept the test scores. Remaining test dates this semester are November 20th and December 15th.
