Upper Peninsula – Four Secretary of State offices in the Upper Peninsula will remain open on November 7th, despite a negotiated agreement with labor unions that makes Election Day an employee holiday. Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land says a team effort through the Department of State will allow all PLUS and SuperCenter branches to stay open with reduced staff. Offices in Escanaba, Houghton, Marquette and Sault Ste. Marie will be open.
